Ted’s Barn is an original oil painting created as a commission for my aunt and uncle. The work was developed from a black-and-white photograph of my uncle’s childhood home, transforming a simple archival image into a vivid winter scene rich with color and atmosphere. The painting reimagines the old family barn blanketed in snow, with bare trees, weathered wood, and a quiet rural stillness that reflects the memory of growing up on the property.
